Tennis Camps
Our Tennis Camps, for young players aged between 4-16 (camps can vary – please check individual details), have proved extremely popular, with many participants coming time and time again. Head Coach Sean Evans and his team cover all aspects of the game from technique to shot selection and tactics.
The camps take place in a number of the school holidays and are open to all, including non-members; it doesn’t matter what your level of tennis is – whether you are a beginner or advanced player. We provide all equipment and racquets if you do not have your own.
Whilst the emphasis will always be on tennis, our full-day Camps cover multisports – so everyone gets to experience a wide range of activities and, most importantly, enjoy being involved with sport.
Our camps are a great place for children to not only get involved with individual and team sport, but a place for making new friends. Children are split into age appropriate groups for their games and spend breaks and lunchtime with everyone. Many of the children who attend the camps end up joining our junior programme which takes place in the term time.
Please see below the dates of our upcoming camps, further details of how a typical camp day runs for each age group, photos of previous camps we have run and the application form to complete when booking.

CAMP DETAILS – HOW A TYPICAL DAY RUNS
MINI’S AGE 4 – 9
Depending on numbers and ages we have attending that day, the groups will either be split into 2 separate groups or run as 1.
A typical day for our mini groups start with some tennis based games which include everyone’s favourites, Jailbreak, Cross The River, Ghost in the graveyard and much more. The afternoons consist of more team based sports, such as hockey, football, cricket etc. We are aware that the younger children attending camp often need more downtime, so we have a wide range of educational indoor activities available for this reason.
The children are reminded to have plenty of drinks breaks and our coaches are all on hand to ensure every child is interacting with others and most importantly having fun.
GREEN/YELLOW BALL AGE 10 – 16
Depending on numbers, ages and abilities we have attending that day, the groups will be split into 2 separate groups or run as 1.
A typical morning will start with tennis based games which include some competitive, but fun point play. Games such as singles and doubles champions get everyone off to a good start. We will then incorporate more team based tennis games such as wipeout, round the world and a new favourite Texas Tennis. No matter what your child’s ability or age there is something for all.
After lunch we turn the courts into a multisport venue, where games such as hockey, football and cricket take place.
We ensure the children have plenty of breaks and have time to also interact with their friends not to mention make new friends.
